1. a history and physical examination is due no more than five days prior to admission or no more than 72 hours post admission
2. a patient evaluation - evaluate patient and review of orders for care and treatment on change of attending physicians
3. a patient diagnosis
4. Advice and Treat-advise, treat and determine levels of care needed specific to the individual needs of the patient
5. Orders - written and signed orders for diet, care, diagnostics, tests, and treatments for patients by other caregivers
6. Patient Record -Progress Notes - enter progress notes and other appropriate entries into the patient's record
7. Alternate Coverage - when a physician is unavailable, an alternate physician is supplied and arranged
